in Richmond during the civil war lots of people died from cannon explosions and starvation, they some times had to eat dead horses to stay alive. in the blue and gray Emma had he kid and he husband died from a cannon explosion.

it was the first major land battle, and this is where Thomas J. Jackson earned the nom de guerre "stonejackson". one of john Guysers cousins died right before the battle of bull run.

Harpers Ferry

In Harper's Ferry John Brown tried to steal weapons to give to the slaves to start a rebellion. The raid was a fail and later on John Brown was hung. In the The Blue and The Gray John Brown was captured and stayed in Harper's Ferry to be hanged.
